The purpose of our work is to determine the effectiveness of the EXPO. 

Objectives of the study: 

• to determine the role and place of exhibition activities in the world economy; 

• to study the history of the international exhibitions development; 

• to identify the features of the world EXPO; 

• to conduct comparative characteristics of EXPO indicators; 

• to assess the economic results received by countries from EXPO; 

• to assess the economic impact of EXPO-2017 for Kazakhstan and the world as a whole. 

Object of research is England, France, Spain, Japan, Korea, China and other countries where was EXPO.  

The subject of the study is the economic effect of EXPO.
